Easy to put on and effective at keeping messes inside

We were fully aware that guinea pigs are messy slobs. These plastic enclosure panels are effective at keeping their hay and bedding contained as an extension of the coroplast liner. Sure, we could've gotten a sheet of 2' x 3' acrylic and made these ourselves. As is, they are wider than the panels of the enclosure. They can be easily cut to size, but we preferred to have them overlapping one another.

I’ve had my girls for over two years and adore everything about them—except the constant mess around their cage. I used to spend a lot of time cleaning the floor and walls daily. These guards were incredibly easy to install and absolutely worth the investment. I have a 2x4 C&C cage, and they fit like a glove—no cutting required.After using them for several weeks, my cleaning routine has become so much easier. I haven’t had to wipe down the walls once, even with the girls flinging tomato juice like it’s a sport. 😂 What used to take me around 30 minutes now takes less than five—just a quick sweep and I’m done. No more hay and poop in every nook and cranny.The guards are barely noticeable unless you’re up close, and best of all, the girls don’t mind it one bit.Highly recommend to any guinea pig parent looking to cut down on cleanup without compromising comfort.

Some customizing is necessary so have a hole punch handy. It makes for a stress free installation. It works well to keep the clutter down

The UniFamily cage liner is wonderful to minimize clean up and salvage food items for small animals, especially guinea pigs. The thin, bendable pexiglass type of liners easily attached to the metal cages with the provided ties. They can be cut into size and allows for transparency while enclosing food/hay --eliminating the scattering of expensive food.It’s very easy to add to any enclosure. Taking into consideration that it’s’ only 4.5 inches high, the likelihood is that you have to use multiple liners for height They come with attached white protective tape that needs to be peeled off. After it’s all said and done, at a distance, you won’t be able to detect any barrier. I wouldn’t say it reduces the mess completely but it does salvage about 90% of hay and food falling outside the cage.

These are great, I put them all around the bottom of my guinea pigs cage because well, he is a pig. This has made the bedding so much less messier and will definitely recommend these.

Not a good fit for rat cages at all. I’m sure they might work for other animals but my rats chewed off the zip ties in a couple of weeks.
