Great ring

My husband loves this ring! We got married in November 2019. We were on a budget but also, my husband loses things. He would lose his head if it wasn't on his shoulders. So we decided not to splurge on an expensive ring for him with the understanding that if he kept up with this ring, we would buy him a nicer one down the line. It's now April 2021 and he still has his ring (although it's been lost and found quite a few times). I asked him recently if he wanted an upgrade and he said he loves this ring so much he doesn't want a new one. I figured I'd write a review since he's now been wearing it for almost a year and a half and still loves it! He likes the way it feels and that it doesn't scratch. And of course, if he loses it, it's only $14 to replace. I would recommend if you are looking for a budget option that looks way more expensive than it is!

My husband does manual labor for a living so I already knew that we would need something durable. He’s pretty low maintenance and didn’t care at all about having an expensive ring. Our friend actually recommended it because her husband had the same one. You can not beat the price for the durability! We’ve been married one year and he wears it everyday. He loves the color and the look of it. To be so cheap it actually looks really nice and appears more expensive than it is. No scratches or dings. I also like that if these rings had enough pressure applied to them they would shatter instead of get bent into the finger. This is a great and safe option for anyone who works outside a lot or with heavy machinery. The great thing is that’s very cheap and if something happens to it (which most likely will with my husband) you can just order another.

I purchased a few other rings in an attempt to find the right one. This one ruled them all… Seriously though, the interior surface of the ring is smooth and comfortable. The brushed exterior surface texture doesn’t not irritate my other fingers and provided a muted look, rather than being polished and flashy. It’s easy enough to slip on and off at a size 8. The tungsten carbide is slightly weighted, which I prefer over a lighter titanium ring.On my honeymoon, we experienced a hot air balloon crash into a quarry wall. The stones that broke off from the wall and fell into the basket, scratching my hand, didn’t scratch the ring. That’s got to count for something.

Can’t say anything about the quality because ring has not been worn yet, however, this is rating based on first impressions. Ring does not come with a box, it comes in a bag. For the price, can’t complain. Ring seems to be sturdy but not heavy. The curved edges are nice, seems to be comfortable the few mins my fiancé wore it. However, it runs about a half size too small. He tried on rings at a big name jeweler and based on their measurements, he’s a 9.5. I ordered this in a 9.5, it goes on, but it’s slightly snug. I will return for a 10.Also, for people that complain about this ring chipping or breaking if you drop/slam it with force: it is supposed to! Tungsten is a hard metal which will break under pressure. Not saying you’ll likely to end up in a situation where you’ll need to have your ring removed by emergency personnels, but if you do, you want a ring that’s going to break so they don’t have to cut off your finger. Just saying, it’s something to keep in mind if you’re going to wear it day in and day out.

Bought this for my boyfriend as a promise ring... and he is obsessed with it.Being a geology/science nerd, I was already aware of what Tungsten was. So I decided to purchase this ring because he is more into darker colored clothing and jewelry, so this was a perfect match.He drops it constantly because he fidgets with the ring, but there’s NEVER a scratch left! You would never even know he had dropped it several times. The color is beautiful to say the least. To me, it looks like a “shiny matte” texture/color, which is so elegant.Not only is the rings durable and comfortable, but it is also very elegant, but manly at the same time. Definitely worth the purchase.

I bought this as a “cheap test ring” for making sure the weight and size was what I wanted for the next 60 years of my life. I ultimately ended getting another ring of the same weight from a high end store for a few hundred dollars. While originally planning for just that purpose, I legitimately considered just keeping this ring and saving some money. Ultimately I’m sure I’ll wear it again, for international travel where I won’t want to bring expensive jewelry. If I was budget constrained or just didn’t want to spend a lot, I’d get this in a heartbeat.
