Are these microwavable? I bought them for overnight oats and didn't think to check that first.

I have not tried them in the microwave yet, but they are great for overnight oats, just the right size for me. I would think they should be fine in the microwave without the lids, which are plastic and fit nicely. Glass is heavy and flawless, so they should be fine for a few minutes in the microwave.

The lids are hard plastic. I would not microwave them.

What is the lid seal/ring material - silicone, rubber, plastic? If rubber, is it natural rubber? If plastic, what type?

Not sure exactly but had a rubber lining around the inside rim, but hard sturdy plastic

I have never put the lids in the microwave, but the jars themselves are very thick glass and they go right from the freezer to the microwave beautifully.
