Good produkt but not quite what I was looking for
I later found that GORNATION also has a "soft grip band" which sounds exactly what I was looking for - I wanted to make the grip more comfortable, not more grippy. This product is to make it more grippy which works nice but not that it does not make it more comfortable as compared to a bare bar.

Used for dip bars - works great
Used this for some dip bars I recently purchased where the handles were powder coated metal (snooth), this 10m grip tape was perfect (and i still have some left)
