I highly recommend using them
Paragrafix does outstanding work. I used their photoetch for two Enterprise model builds I did, and when I decided I wanted to tackle the DeAgostini Millennium Falcon, using the Paragrafix photoetch sets were a no-brainer. They really elevate your model to the next level, providing detail that simply isn't possible with plastic kit pieces. I highly recommend using them. Don't be intimidated if you haven't worked with photoetch before. Paragrafix has tutorial videos on youtube that walk you through the basics, and include the kit specific directions in the bag with the photoetc.
