Hold on to the box for returns. I purchased this clock because it has everything I wanted, but the main priority was it being quiet. When I received it, it seemed like a quality clock and made no noise. Unfortunately, it didn’t last. Within 3 weeks it stopped working. I replaced the battery and it started working again. However, it now makes a lot of noise like it’s straining to run. I threw away the box it came in after a couple weeks; my mistake. Can’t recommend this clock.

I got this clock as a gift for someone with mild dementia living in assisted living. She can tell time, but can’t remember the current day or date. She loves the clock, especially the tropical beach scene, and likes the display for the date, which is easily visible. Unfortunately, the display of the day is more difficult to see from more than a few feet away. But she knows it is there, and can check when needed. Overall a useful and attractive clock. I might have to get one for myself.

It’s very loud, and no way to change the temperature to Fahrenheit from Celsius

The second hand gets stuck most days and the time gets all out of whack. It’s very frustrating as a teacher to have a clock that doesn’t work. It is very cute and when it worked it was great! But once it stopped it’s very annoying to fix it so often.

This clock is very attractive with "smokey" mountain sillouette, in a beautiful blue color. However, whoever decided the clock hands should be black, well, in my opinion, that was a very poor choice. The numbers on the clock face are white - - logically, the color for the hands should be white also. That makes the clock MUCH easier to read from across the room.Fortunately, it was easy to remove the front cover, and paint the hands white.Update 3/19/24: The clock has repeatedly stopped running the clock face. The admonition to NOT use alkaline batteries is perplexing, and I don't recall that being in the description/instructions. I replaced the alkaline batteries with "standard" batteries with no apparent benefit - it has still stopped periodically, only now it also has become noisy (gear noise)I am about 2 weeks past my return window, so my only option seems to be to replace the clock mechanism, which, fortunately seems to be relatively inexpensive.Would I buy it again, knowing what has occurred? Probably not.Update 3/21/2024: Managed to quiet the clock with a tiny dab of lithium lubricant, and had hopes it would alleviate the stopping, but, alas, it was not to be. It has stopped 3X today alone. It starts right up when moved. Waiting to see if it continues while horizontal - - - not a practical position for a wall clock.

We put this clock in our blue (etched glass) bathroom and it makes a nice contrast to the very light color on the walls. Easy to set and keeps excellent time and temperature. I like that it is quiet. The next step would be to Wifi enable it, so that you could see both internal and external temperature. You need to know if you're going to need that sweater.

The media could not be loaded. I don’t like the fact that I purchased 3 of these and they are all noisy and hour, minute, and second hand on clock face stops working every 3 or so hours and when I take the clock off wall it sometimes temporarily works and same thing when change AA battery still same problem so that part is worthless to me.The digital part of clock that takes AAA batteries seems to work fine displaying date, day, and temperature.
