I buy these twice a month on a plant based diet, it hits the spot, never a disappointment.

These Red Lentils are so delicious! How I prepared them: 1. Let them soak in water for about 12 hours maybe longer. Kept in fridge. 2. Chopped, then placed in blender this: carrots, celery, onions 3. Added olive oil to bottom of big pot. Added the blended & chopped carrots, celery, onions. 4. Added the soaked red lentils. 5. Added water. Put on low-to-medium heat. 6. Once cooked, reduced heat to low. 7. Added sea salt and pepper into pot. Stirred. 8. Kept on low. It was so delicious! My Mom liked it, too. Hooray! : )

I really like red lentils. They are so much prettier than green ones, and soups look better with them.

It’s very good quality

Had been looking for red lentils everywhere. The brown ones can have a tough outer skin that can make soups less than pleasing. These work beautifully and taste good. Do wish they weren't split, however. Keeping them whole gives a bit more substance to the lentil. If you are looking for whole red lentils, just be aware these are not. Still recommend them if you want the mild lentil flavor.

Love these. Tried to find any red lentils in the store and they're hard to find.

I was so looking forward to making my favourite curried soup with these lentils, and they proved to be old, tough and bitter. I'll be going back to grocery store lentils—I had much better luck with their quality.
