I will preface this review by saying that I've been working with dogs and in the veterinary field for over 50 years. I currently have 4 small breed dogs but have raised and worked with large breed dogs in the past.These eye wipes came in a sealed container. They had plenty of liquid on them so you don't have to worry about them drying out over time. There's enough in the jar that you can use what's left in the bottom and add a few of your own gauze pads to sop up the remaining liquid to get a few more uses out of it.The pads aren't real big but that's good since you don't want a large cloth draping over your dogs face as you are cleaning their eyes. These are just about the right size to clean any size dogs muzzle and face area. I can do both eyes with one pad by flipping it over. Doing it once per day is sufficient to keep the eyes clean and free of discharge. I recommend these pads.

Overall these wipes are pretty good. They do the job to wipe away puppy tears, and eye gunk. Our pup has had eye issues for years and we have tried a bunch of these types of wipes. These ones did not do much for her tear stains but like I said, she has had them for years and the other wipes we have tried didn't remove them either so hers may be a permanent stain. The issue I had with them was that the wipes were fairly thin and fell apart while using, however, as you are only wiping the area around the eyes you don't need them to last very long either so not a big deal. However, I think they are a little more expensive than the ones we have used previously too, so not a great value.

These work great! They're a little TOO wet for my liking, so I wring the pad out in my fist first and warm it up a bit. I use these on my cat - One of her eyes is weepy, and she gets eye goop on her face and it stains her white fur. Paper towel works okay, but it's a bit rough. These both clean the fur and are soft enough to not irritate her face (soemtimes it takes a little scrubbing to get the staining out). While she's still not a fan of it, she tolerates these better than me using a paper towel, and the solution on the pads is gentle and pet safe and non-irritating to her. Overall great product.

Did not irritate my pups eyes and it cleaned nicely but I think the cons that I experienced are more than the pros. The wipes are SOPING WET and the soaked pads are not the kind that can stay in one piece. When I took a wipe out it was already falling apart.. I held it with both my hands, gave a slight tug and it came falling apart immediately. When I looked closer I see stitching around the edge of the pads but the stitches don’t do anything to hold the two cotton pad sides together since the cotton kind of just falls apart. The next issue is that the wipes are soaked.. like suuupppeeerrrr soaked.. and when I went to wipe my pups face it was way too wet near his eyes much too quickly and so he started freaking out. After I was done wiping his eyes, after he’s calmed down, his face stayed wet for a pretty long time afterwards. Cleans well but the quality of the wipes aren’t great and the amount of solution they soak up is also an isssue.

These dog eye wipes are packaged in a nice round jar with plenty of liquid to keep them very moist. The problem is that they completely deform when you pull them out. Before even using one, it is already in a gloppy shape just from pulling it out of the jar. I have previously used another brand of dog eye wipes and they hold their nice round shape completely through using them to wipe my dog's face. These may work okay to clean your dogs face, but it is not a pleasant experience. They are too wet and fall apart. Also, they say chlorine free but they smell a little bit like a swimming pool.

My dog has dry eye and uses artificial tears for that, but he sometimes gets tear stains and crusties especially when he wakes up. I ordered these since we'd been using paper towels (which seem a little rough) and tissues (which are a little too thin). These are an improvement on both since they are pre-moistened. They are a little structurally unsound and don't hold together that great, but get the job done. There is no fragrance and they do not irritate my dog's eyes. They are a bit pricey for the size of the jar, but all pet items are expensive.

I am very impressed with the gentle ingredients in these eye wipes. They are very soft to the touch. They tear in half easily so you don't have to use a whole pad if you don't want to. They are unscented, and any fragrance they give off is pleasant and barely noticeable. It is a huge relief to know they are tear free. No matter how careful you want to be, sometimes my French Bulldog is just too wiggly when it comes to cleaning the wrinkles under his eyes. My only issue would be that the pads do not separate as cleanly as rougher pads, but I'd rather not use something so harsh.

Good for keeping a dogs face clean. Appears to not hurt them with harsh chemicals, so I'd say they're safe to use. I'm not necessarily sure if they're dramatically better than just using a tissue though, unless your pet's face is incredibly sensitive.
