Great product
Good flavor and nice color. The green is not as vibrant as an extract but for a 100% pandan product it's not bad. I made cookies with it and it turned out very nice. The recipe calls for 1/2 tsp extract and I subbed for 1.5 tsp powder and it worked out well. Just need to add a bit of water to the powder.

Beautiful color - tastes like matcha to me
I used the TUOTAI Premium Pandan Leaves Powder first in milk with some ice to get a feel for it and then with some soy protein isolate and a bit of sweetener. I haven't had pandan before though I have looked at recipes using it forever. The pandan in the shake tastes a lot like matcha to me. It's quite grassy with less floral and vanilla notes than I expected. The drink is a bit powdery as well both from the pandan and the protein. The color is spectacular. Such a vibrant green and I know it is often used in bread making and pastries just because of that. Pandan often comes from Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines though this product comes from China. Unfortunately, that always gives me pause. The ingredient list is simple though- 100% pure pandan leaves.

A new ingredient I'll keep in my kitchen
I've found a new ingredient I'd like to keep around the house. This isn't something I used every day - but I've enjoyed it every time I did use it. My favorite usage was in protein pancakes as it added a really cool green color and a slightly coconutty sweetness to them so I could use a little less syrup. It just made a typical pancake a bit more exciting which is always good, right? I also used it as tea and it was a nice, light coconuty/grassy flavor which I found enjoyable - but I did need to add a little splenda to get the sweetness where I wanted. Very happy with the quality and value for money was solid.

good size bag for your money
how would I describe the taste of this powder? very mild sweet, coconutty and grassy. It smells nice and the quality seems good for a nice size bag of powder. I have heard of people using this in desert recipes and I wanted to try this in a tea because I read that it helps calm you from a stressful day and helps you sleep. I did enjoy the taste but I did add a little bit of sugar to the beverage. It was a nice green color and I enjoy it before bedtime. I received this item to try and review by Amazon, but I assure you I have given you a very honest testimony of my experience with this product. I would purchase this item after my sample is used up because I believe it is a good value for what I am using it for.

Happy I gave this a try
I have seen a lot of recipes that use this and I decided I wanted to give it a try. The powder works great in baking recipes; it has a slightly sweet taste and adds a vibrant green color. The fragrance is nice and is perfect for desserts or sweet baked goods. The powder has other uses such as tea and it is 100% natural without additives. This is a great powder for those looking for low sugar recipes or ingredients that still want a touch of sweetness. The sweetness coming from this powder reminds me of a vanilla or coconut type of sweetness that is just enough when I have a sweet tooth. It also makes green pancakes that make breakfast time fun. The little ones will love it!

A little goes a long way
It dilutes easily and impacts a bright green color. I used too much, and it came out with a strong herbal flavor, so watch your portion. It doesn’t dissolve completely, so there are some sediments at the bottom. If you are using it for dessert, just let it settle first and discard the bottom portion.

Not much pandan flavor
This powder smells like pandan and matcha, which made me wonder if it is cut with matcha. But to be honest, I've never used pandan powder before, I've only purchased pandan sweets from bakeries, so I at least know what pandan smells/ tastes like. We used some of the powder to make a pandan coconut panna cotta. We definitely went heavy on the pandan powder in the recipe, and the end product still only has a subtle pandan flavor. Maybe the extracts are where you get the real flavor from? Regardless, this isn't something I'd purchase again.

convenient and great for making desserts ~
I used the pandan powder to make desserts. It worked well. The flavor is not too strong though. It’s much more convenient than buying frozen pandan leaves. Not all Asian grocery stores carry frozen pandan, so this is a helpful alternative. I also like that I can store this longer. It gave me no issues when I used it in my recipes. The flavor is lighter than fresh leaves, but it’s good enough for me. I also like that it doesn’t have any added sugar. There was no negative health effects when I consumed it.
