Q: Does this foam when sprayed on?

In answer to your question about Lundmark Wax Coil Cleaner...no it does not foam when sprayed on.

Q: Do you need to remove the window unit to clean the inside portion?

I would say you would have to because it would probably make a mess in your house if you didn't. This cleaner worked well for my unit but it is all outside. I sprayed it down and let it set for a bit and then washed it out with a water hose.

Q: Will this work on auto coils as well?

Worked perfectly on my 2006 4Runner. Cooling temp before usage was 62 degrees and after cleaning AC was pumping out a cool 49 degrees on a 89 degree day.
