Wow impressed! Absolute new fav. Slightly pricey but very pleased so far. Purchased an 8.5 usually wear an 8 and the fit is outstanding. Love the soft leather, lining and high cut!The zipper is more like a relief "web" so the boot doesn't split open at the zipper, rather, it's held by a rubber lining. Leaves could be slightly longer. I purchased because i work at a ski resort spa and have to hike up from a parking lot that is necessary plowed and on icy sidewalks that are never shoveled. Looking forward to having safe footwear to get me to work carefully, warm and in style!Will update once i experience the traction.In the meantime, initially I would but a second pair if they weren't out in their inventory!

Excellent on ice. The only problem I had is I lost a web that slipped off one of my boots. I had to buy a replacement for it. These are truly the best boots I have had ever. I would have given a 5 star but because the removable web fell off and was lost right away, I am going with 4 stars.
