Q: I'm 5'5 160 pounds packed mostly in the hips, with small waist. I don't like tight in the legs. What size should I order?

Honestly..I order 3 pairs of smalls. One came fitting like an xs, one small, amd one medium. All different styles amd material. Cheap, inconsistent, and all 3 returned

Q: How do you unclasp the belt? I just received a pair and cannot figure it out.

Actually, you don’t lift up, you squeeze down on the side opposite where you would assume to lift the buckle up! I’m assuming we must all have different belts that somebody thought you just lift the buckle up.

Q: How deep are the thigh pockets? Would they hold a large cell phone [6.12 inches tall]?

My phone has a 6.5" screen and it fits in the top pockets with room to spare. I cannot express how much I love the pockets on these pants. Due to the loose fit, you can actually use the pockets since they're not skin-tight and clinging to your body.

Q: Does it get really hot due to the waterproofing?

My daughter works mostly outside in a zoo, handling animals. Most days, no matter how hot it is, she'd prefer to wear pants instead of shorts. She loves these! They are a lighter weight than any of the others she wears...and if she absolutely has to, she can unzip the bottom half and wear them as shorts. She does not believe the waterproofing makes them particularly hot. She highly recommends them.
