Becareful! with a few helpful hints for sucess
I bought this set for my wife's Christmas gift after watching the British Baking Show. I thought was "what a time saver" and "consistent sized pieces" and I was right. My wife enjoys growing her own herbs for teas and she has been recently drying some lemon grass that she wanted to bag up so its ready to use. The first thing we noticed is that they are very sharp and unlike normal scissors, these are sharp on the top and the bottom blades so it acts like two knives passing each other instead of a single sharp edge meeting a flat shear point (hence the term shears). One of her remarks was how wonderful the size was for filling tea bags but in her enthusiasm of going swiftly she realized cutting too many dried lemon grass blades would try to slip and slide down the scissors cutting surface as there are no rough textures to help hold something during the cutting. The simple remedy is not to cut more than the scissors can handle or better yet, cut the grass when its green and then dry it in the dehydrator or near a dehumidifier (this works great for fluffy Stevia seeds all put in a quart Mason jar with the lid off.I can see these also being used to make some cute cuts on relish decorations and I am sure she will come up with other uses and overall I am not in the dog house which suits me fine. Its good to pick gifts that can actually be used over pretty objects like diamond rings and necklaces ... right? Just don't let her see my practical opinion. Please, no running with scissors because the doctor will think you fell on them five times in a row!

quick and clean cuts
Much easier and cleaner than chopping herbs with a knife

Not very sharp
I bought these to shred smaller pieces of paper for when I didn't want to go to the shredder. However, they barely cut through 2 pieces of paper at once, much less 3. I wouldn't expect them to fully replace a shredder, but being sharp enough to cut through 3 pieces of paper at once doesn't seem like a huge thing to ask for. As long as I keep it to 2 (or preferably 1) pieces of paper, they work GREAT for shredding small things.

Great scissors but might rust.
Its pretty sharp. I use it to cut up food for my toddlers. Need two hands to cut through meat but very efficient at cutting up food manually. Not so easy to clean between all the blades even though theres a plastic brush to brush between the sheers. Tip of scissors starting to rust a bit.

Tines possibly too close together.
These did not operate as smoothly as I would have liked, making their usefulness for an item so specialized very limited. I ended up using my knife to cut the items. When you get it to cut, it makes beautiful strips, but this takes quite some time and becomes unwieldy. You can't cut enough greens at once to make its use speedier or easier than a regular knife. There are other, wider-tined and smoother working scissors out there, possibly for a fair bit more money. I did like the little comb for pushing out the cut greens (though I'd rather they were wide enough I didn't have to use it) and they are quite sturdy. For holding in one hand and cutting a small amount of herbs in another, it would work just fine. Don't buy them for cutting up salad directly in a bowl, a' la Dr. Berg.

Work on for light weight veggies
I had hoped to use these scissors to cut lettuce into smaller pieces. Regular scissors still work best for my use.

Use it for shreading those pesky free address lables!
We use this multi-blade scissor reduce potential identity theft by cutting up all the unwanted sticky backed "free" address labels that come in the mail. Easy to clean and works great.

LOVE these. So much easier than chopping herbs.
They are great. Just swish around in water, and then put in dishwasher if you want then to be REALLY clean.

Make your life less complicated and use a knife or chopper.
Scissors work good on things like parsley, dill weed, and any other type of small herb like that. But you have to hold very few at a time to make it work good, if your making a large salad or dish that needs a bunch it has a hard time cutting threw it. It needs good strength to use these scissors because it has five pairs of blades. Quicker and easier to use a knife or chopper.

They look very sturdy.
They look sturdy and I am looking forward to trying them on my tobacco leaves when they are ready. I really liked the fact that if one does break you can also keep it for spare parts.

Great value
The value pack of 2 allowed 1 as a gift or 1 for home and 1 for seasonal property. We use them for herbs - prep for cooking or topping. We haven’t had them long enough to assess long lasting quality.

Performs exactly as expected.
100% satisfied. Good value vs. Cost. Bought these primarily to shred the odd letter or piece of paper in our kitchen when needed. Have used it on herbs too without problems.
