Very hard and stiff
Grandson said these skates were very uncomfortable and heavy. I liked the idea of the adjustable size, but ended up returning and going with a straight size 7.

Not sure about the adjustment
The adjustment mechanism is quite unique, a tab you unhook in the back and then you spin it -- and that moves the toebox inside the skate forward or back -- no other changes. Not sure how much this will actually help since it's not changing any other part of the skate (most of these adjustable ones slide in the middle so the shape of the toe box also moves back/foward). Otherwise the skates look and perform well -- blades look nice, had oil on them to prevent them from rusting, outside casing has a carbon fiber weave look, inside is a soft boot, which is fine, maybe a bit on the thin side.

great for houseguests at the frozen pond
If you have kids, or a lot of houseguests, these are amazing to have on hand. The size is very easy to adjust, so they will grow with your child, or can be used for visitors of different sizes. I was nervous that they would let in the wetness or cold because they are adjustable, but actually, the adjustable mechanism is only on the inside. That means the outer shell is waterproof and protected without any moveable parts. A small downside is that your feet will look bigger than they really are if you happen to be adjusting them to the smallest size, but, vanity aside, these ice skates are super convenient. Even for the same adult person, sometimes depending on weight fluctuations or variations in sock thickness, you might need an extra millimeter here or there. It's really nice to have the option to have skates that fit just-so.

Not Recommended for Shoe Sizes 7-8!
I am partially pleased with these ice skates and mostly disappointed. They are very middle of the road in my experience. I am a beginner ice skater. My size is a 7-7.5 normally and these claim to adjust to that size from 7-10 for women. I don't understand how it is supposed to achieve that adjustability well. The knob at the back of the skate unlocks and turns to 'adjust' the sizing, locking back up when the preferred size is hit, but the smaller the sizing you go, the weirder it gets. For my sizing, it compresses the base of the shoe upwards into my arch like a 90 degree angle. It's horrible to stand on and is not healthy for my foot for any amount of time. To combat that, I need to adjust the size to something larger than my needed foot size to get that sharp bump to smooth back out... but then it's no longer my foot size and I'm wobbling around inside it. So for sizes 7 and maybe even 8, this adjusting ice skate is not going to be a good match. Instead I find it frustrating and a gimmick. Also, the sole on the inside of these are made of the thinnest, cheapest insert. It looks like cardboard and only goes halfway the length of the foot rather than all the way to the toes. It's uncomfortable, it moves around, and I can't even remove it without putting something more proper in because underneath it is raw composite material that would be awful to have touch my covered foot. Unless you have a larger foot size than me, I can't recommend this ice skate.

These are OK skates for beginners
These are OK skates for someone starting out ice skating. The adjustable feature is different than most and no clear instructions that showed you how to adjust the skate. Basically, you unlatch the pin from the end and rotate it to move the boot inside forward or backward. This only has laces to keep the skates in place and wish had a top strap to give it extra support around ankles. These are at least better than rental skates.

Nice Skates
These feel like quality skates. It is easy to adjust the sizing- simply pop up the flap on the heel and twist it to adjust. The laces are thick and the inside lining is comfortable. My son can’t wait to get on the ice and give them a try.

Great Recreational Skates
These skates are prefect for a new recreational skater. I ordered them so I can skate along with my hockey player and am very pleased with them. They are just as comfortable as her major hockey brand skates but much much cheaper making them the perfect option for a rec skater like me. I wear a 5.5 or 6 depending on the shoe and was very pleased with how these fit. They adjust just like kids adjustable skates. I would not recommend adjusting them between 2 skaters frequently as the mechanisms tend to be weak but they worked to fit me and get me on to the ice. We had them sharpened at our local pro shop, note they (like all skates) do not come presharpened and will need to be sharped at the rink.

Not too comfortable
The ice skating shoes fit well for its size. It is easy to wear, but it is not that comfortable. Little tight. There is no adjustment on its width because I need to tighten the shoes for safety. I believe it is made with good quality. It doesn't look very attractive. I recommend it if it is more affordable.
