I was really excited to receive the Casio AQ-230, and at first glance, it looks exactly like I hoped. The rectangular design is classic, and the smaller size makes it perfect for slimmer wrists—it sits nicely and looks elegant. Unfortunately, my experience with this unit was extremely disappointing. Both the analog and digital functions are defective. The digital display responded only once and then stopped working entirely, and the analog hands cannot be adjusted at all. I followed the manual carefully and even watched YouTube tutorials on how to set the time, but the watch simply does not function. On top of that, the watch arrived in questionable condition. There was no original Casio hang tag, which normally comes with a new watch. The protective sticker on the glass was a cheap round sticker, even though the watch face is rectangular, and part of the box that covers the watch was broken. These details made me suspect the watch might not be brand new and possibly even a fake. Overall, while the design and size are exactly what I wanted, the complete functional failure, suspicious packaging, and missing tags make me question the authenticity of this unit. I had to return it, which was very disappointing.
