With a strong interest in history and social and cultural dramatic arenas he has written plays about topics that include The Marchioness Inquiry (13 Years Down The River) the conflict in Northern Ireland (Sticks and Stones) and numerous other topics. His first feature film "The Journey" which starred Jason Flemyng, Lindsey Coulson and Duncan Pow won him the Best Director award at the Nice International Film Festival and went onto to win him several other awards at festivals around the world. Since then he wrote the screenplay for the Historical war epic Pegasus Bridge which is currently in development as well as re-writing his play STICKS & STONES into a television series. The writer has a strong interest in African culture and visits the continent frequently, he also likes theatre, really well written drama on television.
