Best light Iight tried. And I've tried alot of lights
Been doing my own market testing recently, looking for the perfect light for a high tech planted tank. This is the best one I've tried by far. For £47 on black Friday it's a steal.I bought the hygger light of similar price, and it's no comparison. The seaoura is brighter, the fish and plants look more saturated. There are two rows of large WRGB LEDS who's hue can be finely adjusted (compared to one small row on the hygger). The sunrise/senset mode is better, I didn't even bother with the hygger, as it didn't really work. It's relatively easy to set compared to other lights (Still kinda difficult though). However, it can save your settings if you unplug it. The temp alarm and raised brackets are nice details. Really feels like this was designed by aquarium enthusiasts.I've also bought a chihiros b series light, for about £80, which is a mid-range light. Once again, no comparison. The chihrios light was much smaller, thinner, despite being for the same sized tank. It matched in brightness but I prefer the colour of the seaoura. The seaoura looks a bit sleeker too. Even though setting the seaoura is a pain in the ass compared to the chihiros, there's more functionality, e.g. you can change colour temp/hue on the seaoura and not the chihiros.I haven't yet tried a high end light on my own tank yet, but I've seen them irl in action. I would seriously recommend you try this seaoura first before putting down £400, because there's probably not much in it, and Amazon does easy returns where as aquascaping stores don't.PS I also recommend this specific light over other seaoura lights. I've looked up the specs on the more popular make and it doesn't look as good as this one. If you want to do your own research I recommend comparing wattage and the lumins, as most lights list them. For a 72cm light, you should be getting over 3000lm and it should be at least 36w (for a high tech tank). The hygger was 1480lm and 22w for example, which is suitable for fish and simple plants, but seeing as they're the same price, I would go for the seaoura anyway.

Best choice for changing lights, natural efforts fish tank led lights,
well made, with adequate brightness and clever programmes, electronic thermometer with alarm option is a cherry on top, well worth the price, fan definitely recommend (already use it for four months)👍🏻

Stopped working
The media could not be loaded. Stopped working after a couple of months. Had this sat on the aquarium as you would, poor build seems like condensation affected it not good for IP68 product

A great light
A fab light with a lot of bang for your buck. I love the sunrise-sunset/moonlight mode timer. (Sunset seen in pic).Sliders are smooth and it's a decent width for plant growth. One downside and reason for only 4 stars is theres not a simple on off button. You have to either wait until 'sunrise' or change the function which is a faff, when all you might want to do is a quick bit of maintenance.Overall it seems robust and sleek, so very happy. My fish definitely appreciate the smoother lighting effects and show much more natural behaviors, especially in the evening

Real good lamp, fish love it
Was a best decision to purchase them! Bought two different length items for our two tanks, the fish got so happy the night I installed they were swimming in circles in the moonlight setting, aww. A lot better, does not scare them. Nice bright light, easy to set up. Same goes for the other size. Also it is drip proof! And the integrated temperature alarm we found useful.

OK
These look good when they are lit up but they are really hard to get them light without the timer you have press a button hold it in then press another button but that doesn't always work so you have press a different button and sometimes it might work you have to press different buttons to get it work so sometimes it can take about 10 mins to get it light up.

The best aquarium light for small tanks
Blown away by the value of this light. The temperature sensor is very accurate, and the automatic day-night transition with full custom colours is an absolute life saver for someone as absent minded as me!I've got it set up to give me a morning sunrise, full afternoon sun, a glorious pinky/red sunset and a bit of twilight glow before turning itself off.The presupplied battery does store my settings so I can unplug the light if I need to and not have to start all over again.10/10
