I've purchased this Car Audio couple of years age for my Chevy Aveo 2019. The original car audio was er... garbage. Sold it out. Made full noise isolation of the car (roof, bottom, wings trunk and doors. Installed this car audio - JVC and JVC speakers. Now I've got sound system almost as well as in expensive luxury cars like Lexus and Mercedes Bens, or BMW. Very good car audio. Superior sound quality, recognizes high res audio (FLAC) files.

Excellent budget receiver. This is the second one of these JVC digital media receivers I have owned (one in my '03 Vibe GT and this one in my '01 Ford Ranger). They are fantastic for people who want to upgrade their car stereo to Bluetooth without spending a lot of money. Sound quality is amazing for the price, and the built in amp has enough power to give old stock speakers new life. The only drawback (and the reason for 4 stars) is that the button surfaces have a very high gloss finish which scratches incredibly easy. If you can live with that you'll be very satisfied with this unit.

Love it. The only thing that sucks is it doesnt work with the controls on the steering wheel. I bought it for that reason. But besides that I love it.

Good head unit wit lots of features. Dosen't pair well with flip phone. Does not pull up address book or recent calls. This is just my experience with a new flip phone. Otherwise the unit itself rocks. Set up the crossover with the highs going to front speakers and the lows and highs going to the rear. Givs lots of bass with low distortion. Definitely better if you have a smart phone.

While the outside looks cheap with it's glossy plastic finish, and feels cheap with a lightweight volume nob, the insides more than make up for it. This thing made my stock speakers sing like they never have before... More power and more control than my factory radio. Bluetooth works flawlessly, and call quality is excellent.

Overall the installation was pretty easy but the additional face plate and wiring harness were a must for proper installation. The sound is good and the various options are nice. The display is kind of hard to see in direct sunlight. This was installed in a 2003 Honda CR-V.

Its ok. I regret purchasing it. For the money its a good value. The sound quality is lacking. My bigget concern is the user interface. The volume knob is dual funtion so it will pause or forward if you accidently press it wrong when trying to simply turn a song up or down. The biggest issue for me is the eq. I do not like having to play a tic tac to with buttons and knobs just to get to a setting. Press the wrong button and the eq changes. Major problems if you have an amplified system! Looking for something atleast more user friendly......

I enjoy this dmr so far no issues. Set up was easy enough took no more than an hour. I already had a system installed In my car worked just fine and actually does better than my old pioneer dmr. I enjoy the dancing colors and Bluetooth feature works fast enough

This unit is replacing a unit that had died in my 2007 Hyundai Tucson. We weren't looking for super high end and I don't remember the last time I listened to anything on a CD.The buttons are big and it's easy to use with a quick glance and keeping your eyes on the road.The absolute best part of this deck is that I start my car, it loads up and then instantly starts playing spotify. I don't need to take my phone (Android) out of my pocket and start spotify manually. All my spotify playlists are there and easily accessible. This is a great feature for me as I like to keep my phone out of sight while driving to avoid the hefty penalty we have here for using a mobile device while driving.
