If you want a great keyboard, type a lot, and want to do so quietly YOU SHOULD BUY THIS ONE!
Since I already have a Razer Huntsman keyboard at home, I needed one for the office too so I bought this one. First, it has the feel of a mechanical but without the loud keystroke noise associated with it. Second, it responds great to the touch when typing, so you don't experience the ghosting effect that other keyboards in its category have. Lastly, on its own it works wonderfully but you really want to use the Razer Synapse software you can download from their website to take advantage of the customizing aspect of the keyboard. You can change the color of keys with the RGB effects or customize for your favorite game to gain an advantage o while gaming. Be sure to pair it with a Razer mouse if you plan on customizing for gaming. I don't use this particular one for gaming so I bought the wired Deathhadder, but there are others to choose from that are much more customizable.

A great keyboard for a great price.
I like this keyboard a lot. The keys feel strong when they are pushed. I like the lights and how I can adjust the brightness. The color and animation are superb! Every key is programmable with any color you can imagine. My son just bought another known brand in the same price range and it can't do 1/4 of what this keyboard can do. Also, when I play certain games the keyboard lights and layout change automatically, showing the keys most used/needed in the game with another color. Mind blown! The only negative for me is the complexity of the software. It's overwhelming when learning it. I still can't navigate without getting lost.

RAZER IS ALWAYS AMAZING!
The Razer product lines never seem to disappoint.I've had mice, keyboards, headphones...the works; though I do avoid anything that isn't strictly "functional"; aesthetics mean little to me.I took a chance on this "budget" keyboard, because I just needed something dependable, quick and would show up in virtually zero light level at night. In essence, I needed a backlit keyboard. Now, I'm a researcher...so even a $20-40 purchase needs to have time invested in it to find out what works for the best price. You can call me "cheap", but really...since I'm not spending money on anyone but myself, I tend to think of it as "frugal"...because I'm only cheating me.After weeks of decision making, leanring about cherry blue, brown and red switches...and going down a ridiculous rabbit hole (which will be cool someday, but not in my immediate future) the Razer Cynosa Chroma showed up and my ears perked up like a certain wascawy wabbit...AND in my preferred price range.I figured, "Give it a shot", Razer has never let me down before. And this was no exception. It's been prefect so far...though, it took some time to learn the lighting effects and get what I wanted out of it...but the options and extras are ridiculous for a $35 keyboard. Now, I did have one problem...the ">" ARROW key (different from the ">/." key) stopped working, but after a minutes research, I plugged the keyboard into a new USB port and regained functionality! So, if you're considering this product...just buy it. Yeah, if you want a mechanical, then this isn't for you, but its about the best membrane keyboard I've ever used and best of all...it's quiet when it needs to be (E.g., video conferences! Like when I am working on statistical data and speaking at the same time - a PTT button isn't always an option).Definitely FIVE STARS (*****) from me.Side note - arrived in 3 days (over a weekend) and well packaged. The software even pretty much installed itself.Great product, seller, and delivery.

Best $35 I've Ever Spent On A Keyboard
For the price, its probably the best keyboard on the market with adjustable RGB lighting. You could spend more and get even better, but for the refurbished price of $35, the Cynosa Chroma gives you all you need, unless you absolutely can't stand membrane keyboards [I actually prefer them, hence my glowing review here]. Great lighting, tactile key presses, premium feel, not "plastic-y" at all, great Synapse integration. Buy it if you need a keyboard.

Keys are stiff
This keyboard is really nice, I like the finish of the keys, the L.E.D.s are nice are bright, and can be adjusted to dim, or off. Also with Razer chroma, you can change lighting effects that can sync with games, music, and all kinds of other effects, or themes you can think of. Overall it's a nice keyboard, seems though the biggest sell of this keyboard is the RGB lighting. This version of this keyboard does not come with mechanical keys, instead these are membrane keys which is what I wanted initially, I didn't want a loud clicky keyboard. There is however one thing that I don't really like about this keyboard, and that is the keys are a little too stiff for my liking. I feel that I make more mistakes typing because of this. The stiffness of the keys isn't an issue with gaming though, and works great when gaming. Aside from the stiff keys, the only other thing in my opinion that would make this keyboard better would be dedicated volume keys, or a nob instead of the need for the "fn" key like you find on laptops, there are keyboards that cost significantly less that include this. Though there are work arounds, but it seems that in order to have dedicated volume keys, or nob on a Razer keyboard, you have to step up to a more expensive model. Overall I like this keyboard, and my gripes are minor for the price I paid.Would I buy it again? Maybe, as much as I really don't want a clicky keyboard, I'd consider the mechanical version, as I would assume that they'd be less stiff.... If I had to buy it again.

Best money to spend for luxury gaming.
This keyboard is great if you are looking for something with a great brand name and great for gaming. The Cynosa Chroma is the most affordable keyboard Razer makes and is amazingly reliable. For my long days of coding websites and gaming this thing can go through it all. Another great aspect is the LED's, you can customize these keys fully just as if you had a high quality Razer keyboard. The customization is endless to your creativity. I give this product easily a 5 star for its design capability's, comfortness, and capability's when typing/gaming.
