Great vibrant color, soft yarn

Used this color to knit a couple of pumpkin garlands. Perfect color.

The first time I purchased this yarn it was so soft. It felt silky smooth. This time, not so much. It didn't have that same silky smooth soft texture. It felt just like the regular everyday day yarn. Since I was 90% of the way finished the project I've been working on I just finished. The texture of this yarn made the remaining granny squares that needed to be finished a little (not noticeable to others but I can tell) bigger. Not sure if I will purchase this brand again. I'll have to go back to the first time I purchased this brand and see if it's a different seller. That's why you should always purchase a little more than you think you'll need for your projects.

Its a nice soft yarn and a nice blue for a gators color

This item arrived with a lot of broken places. It was not a continuous string like most people need. It was broken and just tied back together, creating a lot of knots that would not be good for knitting or crocheting much less anything else. When my wife contacted the company they got all snippy with her and would not own up to their mistake in making this yarn.. We will never buy from this company again.

I just received two skeins of the Wine Red yarn. My cousin had requested that I make a scarf for her MIL, who just turned 90 this year. I wanted something that would be soft and this Batelo is quite soft, indeed. It has a silky feel and can be a little hard to hold on to if your hands are dry but take your time and you will get into a rhythm that moves along nicely. The label calls for an I/9 hook but I found a J/10 hook, which is larger, works better for me. I am making a simple scarf, about 7 inches wide, using a double crochet stitch in each loop across the width. This makes a close stitch but remains flexible. I am quite impressed with Batelo and plan to order more in the future.

I just received these yarns yesterday but they seem to be of good quality. The colours are as vibrant as they appear online. Happy with my purchase.
