I've used borescopes on aircraft engines over the years, but these costs thousands of dollars. This is a nicely made unit and does an excellent job in looking into those areas you can't get to. Good lighting and clear visuals seen on the screen. Probe manipulation smooth and easy to control. Excellent value for money. Highly recommend.

I'm glad I purchased this borescope. The quality is amazingly detailed, provides good lighting, screen is decent, battery is good. The thumbwheel for moving the camera is also fantastic, and you'll be able to see everything. Can't tell you how many times this got me out of a bind during auto repairs.

I had always wanted a borescope, but couldn't really justify the expense. When this unit went on sale I decided to take the plunge and boy am I happy I did! I have used this tool soooo much more than I initially thought I would. From drilling a small hole in drywall and checking in the wall for wires and pipes before making a larger cut with the saw, to finding a clog in my washer's drain pipe and being able to quickly resolve it with out having to bring in a professional. This is a tool can come in handy in so many situations. As for features of the unit itself, I would say that the camera is pretty decent quality and the controls are very intuitive. The articulating head is super useful and works very smoothly. I would highly recommend picking one of these up.

Must have for mechanic. Very clear image of cylinder walls and piston. Set piston all the way down and you can clearly look up at the valves. Nice to look inside engine to verify repair prior to spending the time tearing it down to find out it is not worth repairing vs replacing the engine. Also, I would like to add the cable is only 5ft and most of these you will find are 10'-16' which is way too much for auto repair. All these cameras brag about 1080P, which is the camera, not the display! This one the display is 1080P.

for the price. nice picture, simple to use. My first negative is the VERY flexible cable. I have other similar cameras with flex cable however this cable is limp! will not stay straight in only about 8 inches droops down. My others will hold straight out to about 18 inches. Second issue is the smallest diameter probe available (I need 1/8 probe) knew this and decided I would give this unit a try. Works fine! I am not disappointed in the camera other than smaller not available. But the limp cable will limit my use

Had a snap on bore scope for the past 2 years and yeah it got the job done. But I wanted a better picture this has a 1080p I believe and mine had what looked like 720 or whatever the other quality is. And this new one rocks I’m really fond of the bending tip it has much easier to look around then A side angle lens. Only thing I dislike it’s its shape and size it can’t stand alone so if you need 2 hands you’re out of luck but it’s manageable.

This is by far my most borrowed tool in the shop. I myself have saved a lot of time tearing apart an engine to determine the fault by being able to look at the valves and cylinder walls through the spark plug holes. Fantastic camera!
