After 47k miles on my 06 Vulcan 900, the clutch has started to slip on heavy acceleration. The cable wasn’t adjusted by the previous owner and I was getting the shit end of that choice. These clutches and plates grab EXCELLENT, especially with the improved springs.Had the bike together and apart a few times making sure everything was correct. The LAST plate has to be turned to the next tooth over. It’s the only one that goes in a different order. I’d recommend checking a Kawasaki Vulcan clutch assembly manual online (that’s what I did).Also, unrelated to the clutch.. when you take that clutch cover off, use extra care on the coolant lines. I broke a bolt off the one towards the front of the bike, and the first time I had everything together, I had a coolant leak from the coolant pipe at the top of the clutch cover. Take your time and make sure everything is seated well and not cross threaded.

Great clutch kit. The stiffer springs did make the clutch pull (non hydraulic) about 15% harder but my Vulcan 900 no longer slips the clutch when accelerating in 5th gear. I also bought the EBC clutch tool CT016. The tool woked great with my impact wrench on the hub nut.
