Lightweight, Good-Looking Protection
I like this helmet. Not as much as I liked my LAS, but unfortunately, you can't get those anymore. So I went with this. I'm disappointed it doesn't have a removable "anti-bug" liner, like the LAS. But I tried using the one from the LAS in this one and it fit perfectly, so that problem was solved. Overall, I like the shape of this helmet (again, not as much as the LAS), the fit, and the venting. But you MUST try it on first with your sunglasses, as the adjustable "brace" in the back fits low on your head and may interfere with some glasses. I also like the lightweight, u-shaped straps on this helmet BETTER than the LAS, which had thick straps that adjusted near your ears. The only adjustment on this helmet is the chin strap, so I have to believe it may not fit everyone well. I also like the chin strap, which on this model is WHITE. I wish it were black like the straps themselves, but aLAS, I can't get everything. Some people may not like the faux leather chin strap and want a soft material, though you could cover it with a wrap easily. I like it. I considered the Protone model as well. IMHO, the shape of it felt odd on my head and I didn't like less venting (and higher cost). Normally, I would buy a helmet from my LBS, but the Amazon price was just too low for them to match and me to pass up.

Good fit, Good look
4 and a half stars. When I first tried it on I was ready to return it. Same problem some have noted in their reviews, my glasses stopped at the back strap cradle. I waited too long to return and messed with the adjustment of the straps and the height of that back piece and now it works (still kind of a bad design for that to be an issue). So I'm happy with it now.The helmet fits nicely. My head fits right between the medium and large sizes of most brands (some larges wobble side to side, while mediums press hard on my forehead). With this one I went with the large. The horizontal braces across the top are thin without foam core so it seems to get good air flow from front to back. Light weight. Matte black but it does have some reflective bits in the back without detracting from the appearance. Looks like you could peel that off if you want full matte black. The black outer shell and the black foam are fully joined without the appearance of a separate piece of plastic stuck on like some cheap helmets. My only question are the foam pads. I was hoping for the tight, seemingly well made pads of the Mojito but this is a much thicker open cell foam (still different from the typical helmet pads that rarely seem to last more than a year). Maybe these will dry out quickly so they don't stink or fall apart.

I'm not sure what i was expecting but (a) it is heavier (b) it doesn't seem to ventilate as well and (c) somehow it allows more
Swapped over from a giro atmos that was about 5 years old.I'm not sure what i was expecting but (a) it is heavier (b) it doesn't seem to ventilate as well and (c) somehow it allows more sweat to drip into my eyes despite having seemingly superior padding and thicker absorbent materials, perhaps this is simply a function of the decreased ventilation causing more sweat to be generated. The funny thing is, when i get off the bike and remove the helmet my hair is raised up in tracks having somehow been sucked up into the vents. I have short hair <2" on top and i've never seen this happen on any other helmet. Perhaps this implies that the venting works really well at first, but then diminishes in effectiveness once the hair gets sucked in.The Kask looks good, the chin strap system is far superior to any other helmet i've had and the fit is certainly more adjustable and on cool days so this makes the helmet more comfortable to wear.On hot days I put it aside and go back to the atmos because the kask is simply not suitable. All things considered I would not recommend or purchase again because i don't feel like it's a helmet that can be used in all conditions. And at the price you pay for it you just expect more.

Very comfortable Helmet
I purchased this helmet based on the reviews and its look. The design of this helmet somehow fits both the oval and round head shapes per the reviews. It fits my round head comfortably. It must be the generous padding. I just rode 50 miles in hot weather, the ventilation kept my head cool. The double-hinged fitting system hugs my head like a beanie. Feels secure but yet still comfortable. A solid 5 star.

but my friend survived a bad crash with no head injury
it is heavier then my Giro, but my friend survived a bad crash with no head injury. That's a pretty good test. I waited over a year for it to go on sale.

Light and comfortable
Really like this helmet. Light and comfortable and looks great. The rear harness system takes some getting use to as you have to make sure it’s in the right position before putting it on but that’s a small price to pay for a helmet I basically forget is on my head it feels so good.

too big and a wonky fit
i am right on the border of medium and large but these helmets seem to run a little bigger than most helmets. also, the leather chin strap when adjusted for me stuck out a good 6 inches. i ended up returning this helmet and going with the first generation of the vertigo for cheaper and i went a size down. also, the most annoying thing and the reason why i returned the mojito and this helmet when getting it (other than it being too large) was the fact that the straps werent fished through the rear head brace and that seemed to make the fit super wonky. buy with caution and try one of these helmets on in a store before buying on amazon

Great
I almost did not order due to complaints about sunglasses not being a good combination with this helmet. It worked perfect for me. I ordered the medium helmet and it is paired with the Oakley Fast Jackets. May depend on head shape/ear placement. Very nice and comfortable helmet.
