Isabel - The Complete Series (Serie Completa)

I live in Spain and have studied Spanish medieval history at the university of Castilla La Mancha in Toledo. This is a fantastic series but why the makers do not provide it with English and other subs is beyond me. I was lucky enough to get a version from a friend with English subs.

RTVE missed a real trick here not providing English subtitles to promote international sales for this simply excellent series. I can only say that if you speak Spanish, DONT MISS IT! Having recently read one of the standard biographies of Queen Isabel I was really surprised to find that the series keeps pretty close to history, proving that truth is often stranger than fiction. Good news also for Spanish improvers in that you can activate subtitles (in Spanish) for hard of hearing, which helps unravel some of the more complex scenes,
