Fast, Accurate, and Easy to Use
It is a great laser engraver! It is easy to assemble and the instructions are clear. For the price, it has excellent performance. It's fast, powerful, and the engravings come out sharp and detailed. Works perfectly on wood, metal, and more. The machine is easy to use. Can quickly completes projects, and the compact size fits perfectly on desk without taking up too much space. The accuracy is great. Plus, the engraver itself looks sleek and modern.

Perfect Starter Engraver for My New Hobby!
I recently started getting into laser engraving, and the Twotrees TTS-55 Pro has been an awesome choice. It’s easy to set up and works great on wood, acrylic, and even metal. The engraving is clean and detailed, and the speed is impressive without being overwhelming for a beginner. I’ve already made some custom signs and gifts, and the results look really professional. If you're looking to dive into a creative hobby, this machine is a solid and reliable pick!

Save for something better
Poor engraving quality, don’t expect to cut anything, I had a lot of issues with the x axis belt, also note the instructions aren’t the best so be prepared to make mistakes in assembly

Nice Hobby-Level Engraver
I bought this engraver to try with some wooden nameplates for Thanksgiving, and some race medals. It was easy to set up and LastGRBL (the freely available control program) is pretty easy to use (though I should note I work in tech). I didn’t cut out the wooden leaves in the picture with the engraver, so I can’t review that feature (I purchased them precut elsewhere on Amazon), but I did use the engraver to burn the text, and as you can see it did a clean, accurate job. Each leaf took a few minutes to engrave (they’re about 3” across, for reference), and it was easy to align them after the first one by using a rough outline cut from cardboard, taped to the garage floor beneath the engraver (because then I could just drop the next leaf in the cutout and click go). The medals were a little less successful. You can see in the picture of back of the medallion itself (made of some typical, anodized cheap metal alloy) that even after many passes on different settings and heights (including some early, poorly aligned attempts), the text was not clear enough on the back of the medal to really be worth anything (you can barely see it). A friend told me that painting the back of the medal black before engraving may have fixed that problem, but I didn’t try that. Instead, I bought self-adhesive black metal plates (the circular plate pictured, used for making phones work with magnetic mounts, etc.) and engraved those. They came with a thin plastic-like coating on them, and I engraved through that to reduce scatter, then removed the coating after engraving. I will note that doing so produced some likely toxic smoke, so I wore a respirator mask while engraving, but the resulting text was pretty clean (though not as nicely contrasted as the wood). All-in-all, I was pleased with the value of the tool, as it is substantially cheaper than the next level option, and is probably quite suitable to light-duty hobby engraving (especially on wood or leather, I would be careful with plastic or other glossy materials, and you may have mixed results with metal, as I did). I have purchased some additional accessories for it (the rotary stage and risers) to attempt to engrave through the coating on some commercial steel vacuum tumblers. We’ll see how that goes! (I haven’t used it for long enough to speak to the durability of the moving parts or laser diode).

Good work horse
It is a very forgiving machine so easy to use with little to no knowledge of the device. Is not made for fast or on demand work unless it is small. I have dropped it and cussed it but it keeps on working so I recommend it for any skill level and to have fun.

Twotrees TTS-55 Pro Laser Engraver 5500mW
First, please note I titled the review for my purchased product. Sometimes you find weird misleading reviews not for the exact product. The product arrived as described and features a solid build quality, including the plastic components. Assembly is straightforward and should take less than an hour for most users. While I encountered a technical issue initially, the seller’s customer support was professional and provided effective troubleshooting guidance. Once it was determined that the laser head was faulty, they promptly sent a replacement at no additional cost. I feel they run a real business and honored the warranty. I'm an amateur but after a week of testing, the performance is consistent with its 5.5W rating info I found. I successfully cut 5mm plywood in 3–4 passes and engraved various materials, including wood, leather, plastics, glass, and stainless steel. The power output meets, and in some cases exceeds to me, expectations for this category. Prospective buyers should note a few operational details: Focusing: It is almost an art, and for sure not always as precise as you want. There's some "ramp focus test" videos that helped me. you need to focus almost for each job. Time: This is not a desktop printer, be prepared to wait while the job is in progress and do not leave the machine unattended. Limit Switches: The unit does not include them. Users must manage positioning manually through software (is easy) or install them as a DIY upgrade. Safety & Environment: As with most entry-level lasers, you will need to provide your own enclosure and fume extraction system to ensure a safe workspace. Software: Compatibility varies by operating system, and the more robust software options require a purchase. Configuration: The seller provides configuration files for recommended programs. Be sure to research properly before changing config or setting on other software, some settings are critical and specific for each product model. I did my research before buying, so that's my advice. Review Highlights: Build Quality: Durable construction and simple assembly (less than 1 hour for anyone). Customer Service: Professional support and hassle-free replacement of defective parts. Performance: Reliable engraving across multiple materials and effective cutting of 5mm plywood. I didn't try more exhaustive cutting. Operational Notes: Be aware there's no limit switches and the need for a DIY enclosure/ventilation. Technical Advice: Importance of using correct software configurations and pre-purchase research. Very pleased with the results and the price/value rate.
