Go Green Face Paint

My son is a fan of Strange Music artists. So whenever there's an ICP, or TechN9ne concert he is there face paint and all. This came the day of the ICP concert. He was a happy guy. While he only uses the black he was very happy with how smoothly it went on and covered Well. The sponge applicator was great and these would also work well with brushes. Will definitely be using them on the 4th of July. I like the way the pots screw together with a separate lid for the top.I received this item at a discount for my unbiased review. I purchased this kit twice. Both batches indicated it was made in 2019. I have purchased this paint prior to 2020 and it was amazing! However, both kits purchased, with in a week, were old. When water was added, it turned into glue. The paint I purchased, prior to covid, was wonderful! It was beautiful. Vibrant. Luxurious. These kits were dry and then sticky. Hopefully, they will stop pawning these kits off and sell their best again. I hope that anyone that has purchased face paint from these kits doesn’t think this is how it is supposed to look. Please let me know when I can purchase again. ???

I love that these paints are not harmful. That is above and beyond why I'm using them. Mostly they have good color and application, but they never dry, really. They blend well, but I can't get the product to pick up on a sponge and I rarely use brushes with them because I've no idea how to quick clean my brushes when I'm face painting. However, clean fingers work great for the type of work I do (I use them for myself, mostly). Occasionally, one of the colors seems underpigmented or gritty instead of vibrant and creamy. I will absolutely say that the Go Green Team is AMAZING at customer service. One of my pots of paint was mildly damaged (a purely cosmetic chip), and I mentioned it to them. They rushed me TWO of the same product at no charge! I hope they work out their formula issues, because these guys have something good going on here.

This is one of the more disappointing purchases I've made perhaps this year. The price is way too high, but I was willing to splurge a bit thinking I'm getting a quality paint. Being organic and hypoallergenic added to the appeal. However, the face paint itself is quite terrible. It's like trying to paint a face with partially dried lipstick. It doesn't cover well, it's difficult to apply, and you'll learn it's equally as difficult to remove. It's simply not worth it. It only comes with a single makeup style applicator of very low quality. You can't clean it, or certainly not use with more than once. All around, it's just not a good product. I consider myself artistic, and paint savvy, but my face paint selection skills could use some work.

4.5 stars. I like this product. I am new to face paints, and once I decided I wanted to get some, I started reading about the different brands, the most popular ones, and then came across the natural ones. I extensively reviewed studies looking at the contents of the major paint brands. Once I did that, I could not in good conscience buy a paint that I knew contained lead, particularly since the face paint was for my little rug-rats.! I chose the classic colors hoping to mix the colors to get the other colors I might need. That works, but it is very difficult to get the vibrancy of the colors I wanted by mixing. My recommendation to buyers would be to just get the colors you want or better yet the 15 pack. Shades of blue were easy to achieve as well as green. Buy the pink and purple if you need that. The snazoo set of brushes are a great addition. I love that the jars stack together. They have great customer service. The paint is a little garden to get off- but soap and water will do the trick. I borrowed some library books to get started and made some great paintings on little faces!

I love that this is non-toxic. I bought for my kids to use for Halloween clowns. The first issue I had, was the red is actually burnt orange. A clown with orange cheeks and lips looked slightly odd. I then spent 2 hours shopping last minute for non toxic red lipstick. Then I had hard time getting it off one of my kids. I emailed and they instantly responded and said to use lotion. They had wonderful customer service. That helped, but my sons face was red with bumps by then.

Thank you GoGreen! We love this product. We got the multi color pack of facepaints and used them for a full coverage face mask for Halloween. They worked great. The paint lasted for hours, long enough to go trick or treating and hang out. THE BEST PART? My skin and face is very sensitive to the point I don't even wear regular makeup. I put this paint on my whole face and I didn't get a single blemish or bump after wearing it. No clogged pores, no burning eyes after application. Clean up was messy with the olive oil and wash cloth but what face paint isn't? I'm so glad we found this product without all of the harmful chemicals and compounds. Highly recommend. Thanks again!
