Arrived promptly. Easy to read and quick to reach temperature of liquid.
I bought this to test the hot water temperature from my hot water cylinder as being a long term diabetic I do not recognise extremes of temperature very well and had some light scalding.What extremely good value for money. Reading scale in both Fahrenheit and Centigrade, very easy to read and comes with a a strong plastic protective sleeve. A reliable glass thermometer that we used to use; digital is not my cup of tea.

Great for a hot water bottle!
I don't need this for scientific purposes. But I'm caring for someone who needs a hot water bottle to help with pain. A few degrees either way can complicate matters. Now I can make the heat just right for her. It can be hung from a thin hook, but I keep it in the case it arrived in, a sturdy plastic holder. My only negative comment is that I find it hard to read. The gauge and numbers could be clearer.
