PRIMOS Hunting Trigger Stick Gen 3 Series “ Jim Shockey Tall Tripod

I've recently bought the primos gen 3 trigger stick ( Jim shockey edition ) and I'm very impressed with it's sturdiness and versatility, there seems to be no limits to the angles of terrain that the gen 3 can be used on , as each of the three legs are independent of eachother , just a squeeze on the release trigger allows you to lower or higher the unit as well as set the angle . The legs can also be locked steady at the lower position, ideal for a seated position , I'm really happy with the gen 3 trigger stick and I'm sure that it will last the test of time , I highly recommend it to anyone into photography , hunting or back garden plinking .

I had tried a cheaper tripod which initially I thought was ok, however it was soon evident that it was slow and awkward and when sat in a low hide was very difficult to position well. This thing arrives and it blows everything else out of the water with its ease of use, lightness and flexibility. can not recommend this highly enough, its going to transform my hide shooting and will be a brilliant piece of kit walking around paddocks stalking Rabbits and pigeons. even comes with an additional mounting plate for a camera. Expensive, luxury ? possibly but so worth it if your budget will stretch to it.

Excellent, though a little difficult to use from a low seated position. I find for low seated positions the feet don't grip the mud in the fields too well, and you have to dig them in a little. Once set up they are very stable. Would I recommend them? Definitely!

An excellent stick. Bought as a present for someone with back problems for steadying his air rifle at standing and sitting upright whilst target shooting and he's very pleased with it. He says he'll also be able to use it with his cameras.

Very pleased with these, well constructed giving a very stable shooting platform. Well worth the money and can be adjusted right down enabling seated shots.

Despite a lot of bad reviews regarding quality, mine is excellent, supports my rifle perfectly and nothing has fallen apart yet.

Arrived with one leg sticking - really annoying! Turns out the cause is one of the outer legs was slightly bent but enough to stop the inner sliding freely. Poor problem to have on such an expensive tool.Seriously expensive for what you get. Feel reasonably well put together but I would not want to handle roughly.
