Excellent all round.
A very comprehensive kit. I have been wanting to try a projection system for a while and looked at quite a few. In terms of the features, versatility and accessories I chose the Soonpho OT1, I am very pleased with everything so far. It is well made and sturdy enough for my use.The included lens is very good as well as the ability to take a Canon EF lens fitting which means I can adapt camera lenses to give different sizes of patterns. The supplied Gobo's are enough to do a lot of set ups and the adjustment blades are a very useful addition, that most similar projectors don't have.I use this with a flash head, very importantly with an LED modelling lamp, a tungsten lamp woud get too hot.All in all I said excellent all round and that sums it up for my experience.

Great snoot for the money.
I see this same snoot under other brand names for a much higher price - nearly £300.I already have an optical snoot — an £80 one, which is not so bad for the money, however it doesn't have the shutter blades I need for illuminating small areas precisely. This one does have the shutters, making it much more useful for me personally.Build quality is pretty solid: it's all-metal.I'm using it with a Godox strobe; one with an LED modelling lamp, so over-heating isn't an issue.I would think that if you're using a legacy strobe with halogen modelling lamp, the casing of this snoot might get a bit hot — I don't see much in the way of venting at the lamp end.The lens that comes with the snoot is reasonable quality. Focal length is 85mm.You can fit any Canon EF lens to the snoot, though with the amount of heat you're going to get if you have a halogen lamp, the lubricants inside a normal lens might cause hazing of the glass to occur. [I don't know that for certain, just surmising.]This snoot also comes bundled with a good range of gobos and some gels. The default mount is Bowens. It fits well.Like all optical snoots, you lose a fair bit of lux — with my Godox 1000 iii V at full power, I'm getting an exposure value of about F11 @ 100 ISO when the strobe is about two feet from the subject. All in all, I heartily recommend this snoot.
