Been taking for 2 months. Bought for prostate- to help improve urination. Has done nothing for that. Also claimed to lower cholesterol - just had a screening- hasn't moved. Worthless.

I don't know what these pills contain. I want somewhere between 120 mg and 200 mg/day beta-sitosterol and I'm happy to also take sitostanol and stigmasterol but the label only that each pill contains a total of 500 mg of "beta sitosterol complex." The label lists the components of this complex but not how much of each is included. This is too vague, I do not know what I am getting with these pills, and this is simply not good enough.The label says "third party tested," but not what was tested. Was it assayed? If so what were the results of the assay? The testing could have been anything--again this is too vague. The label also says "Made in USA with Global Ingredients." Global ingredients means imported, and probably from China. So the pills were pressed in USA with ingredients from undisclosed countries, again this is too vague.It says take 1 to 2 pills per day or as otherwise directed by a healthcare professional. I'm a healthcare professional but I would not direct anyone to take a pill that contains I know not what.The pills are big but I've swalled bigger ones without trouble. Just make sure your mouth and throat are very wet before you start swallowing. If you feel concerned you can break up the tablet or take it with applesauce.
