Yankee Candle Company Charming Scents Car Air Freshener Refill, Kit, Sicilian Lemon

Usually Yankee Candle anything is overpriced and underwhelming. The car charm kit is worth every penny, however. The scent I ordered, Pink Sands, is lovely! My car has never smelled better. The fact that refills are readily availble on Prime and are comparably priced to the ones I find in Wal Mart is a plus, too. Prime offers a better variety of scents than I can find in the stores.The charm is easy to assemble and fits neatly around the rearview mirror stem. It looks quite pretty. I prefer it to the cardbord pineapples and flip flops and Bath and Body Works Scentportable discs I have used in the past. Highly recommend!!

While this air freshener is very stylish, it's NOISY! I put it around my rear view mirror and the (metal) ring clanks around, hitting everything and making a ton of annoying noise while driving. I drive a new car and there are sensors and all kinds of things around my rear view mirror for it to hit.Because of the ring design, there is no way to avoid this from happening. After a week, I had to take it down, it was driving me nuts! It's hanging from the gear shift now. Quietly.HOWEVER, I will say, I really do love the sophisticated look of this product. And the scent....pink sands...to die for.

I will confess I purchased these strictly for the metal ring and holder. I throw the scent pucks away. I use them in my closet, car and winter clothing storage boxes. I use a heavy felt disc and my own choice of essential oils. I love how they look classy not cheap - they are NOT plastic nor do they plug in. My husband keeps his hanging off his turn signal as he refuses to let it hand from the mirror. The are much smaller than traditional "Christmas tree" scent card boards. I get ask all the time where did I find that scent charm for my car - to which I confess my secret. Our local store sold out quickly after my book club found out...lol So get them here to give as gifts.

I bought this soon after I purchased a new car. I wanted to go ahead and keep the car smelling good while in the early stages before the "new car" smell wore off. Initially, I thought I'd enjoy this scent, which is why I chose it over others, but as it turns out, it's not my favorite. That doesn't mean the product is bad, however. I just chose the wrong one for myself.In terms of the actual charm - it's cute, and I really do love it. I personally didn't notice any rattling or noise with the charms clinking together, but that's probably to do with the fact that 1. it's easy for me to tune small noises out and 2. I listen to music loud enough to cover up any noises that'd come from a unit like this.If you're looking for a cute charm, I'd say this is perfect. While I know that people are buying this for the scent as well, I wouldn't expect it to last a long time and just make sure you choose one you're going to like. Or I'm sure there are other ways to buy and/or make scents that can fit into this without having to buy name brand.The reasoning for my stars is because I think it's worth it for the charm alone, not so much for the scent. They're pretty and made of metal, and I like having something solid rather anything flimsy.

Nice scent, stays for a month. Wish it was cheaper and didn't make that dangling sound when hung on the car's mirror - had to take it down and put it around the gear shift

The scent was nice when you held it to your nose. 6” away from your nose you don’t smell it. I expected more from Yankee Candle. Tried hanging this in my car but it’s very noisy and again...no scent. Wasn’t a complete waste of money tho. I did use the ring as a keychain. I wouldn’t recommend.

I love this! I can’t speak for the longevity of the fragrance but I really love the locket aspect. I do wish the scent was just a tad bit stronger (I have the pink sand scent), however I will try the other scents as well. Love!

Be warned- the little scent square is incredibly strong, and I couldn't stand it. I even put it in my glove box at one point because it was bothering my allergies, and it was still overpowering. However, with a decent amount of saran wrap coating, it was the perfect strength. I just wish it was less potent so it wouldn't be necessary to go to the trouble.

A really nice gift, just a shame that I've now ordered 2 and each one has come in a very, badly damaged box which does spoil the look of the item!
