Great display case ....Great case great storagre Third shelf is a bit narrower for large knives. Not a big deal.....

I am very pleased with this display case and it exceeded my expectations. I can't speak as to whether or not the "walnut veneer" is real or not, but it looks nice and is solidly constructed. Hopefully the quality holds up over time. It is packaged very well to avoid damage. The hardware is extremely nice quality, not the cheap and soft metal hardware I was expecting. The key is more decorative than anything because the lock would not be hard to pick, but it does lock solid and will keep children out. The slots are wide enough to accommodate most pocket knives, even my Spyderco Paramilitary 2. Please note that the bottom drawer is not part of the locking mechanism.The price is a little on the high side but overall I think it is not too unfair, and while it may not be affordable to purchase several if you have a large pocket knife collection, this does highlight your selection of best knives very well.

Excellent Craftsmanship. Only a single key is included. It would be nice if the drawers used standard drawer slides and were a little more independent instead of the top drawer being slightly reliant on the bottom drawer. Overall happy with the purchase though.

The escutcheon and drawer pull are a little loose but not bad enough to mess with. May need a spot of glue later. Overall, the case is very nicley finished.

The case was very well built and finished. It stores my knives very well. I gave it 4 stars because i didn't get the key to the lock. My only option was to return the item for a replacement. Since it took a while to receive it and feel that I will likely NOT lock the top lid often, I decided to just keep it WITHOUT the key.I like the case enough to not bother with a returnADDENDUM:I decided that I DID want the key after all and ended up returning the item. They sent another case the next day that DID come with a key. Now I just need to send the other one back. This is a slight hassle but now the case has the key like it should!!

As mentioned in other reviews, the fit and finish on this two-drawer display is much nicer than expected. I got the version in the ebony finish, which has attractive dark cherry undertones. It is a solid piece and the hardware looks great!

I was a little hesitant to spend $90 on this, but after receiving it, I have no problems with the price. The build quality is excellent, and it is much sturdier and heavier than I expected it to be.It looks great, and the interior trays are nice and soft.My only nitpicks would be that the lock only locks the glass top; it does not lock the tray also, and the bottom drawer is free-floating; there are no rails or guides for it.

So far it's nice. It has some heft to it nice finish and does what it's supposed to. But there is no point tor the key and lock it only locks the top not the other drawers. But so far I like it for the price
