Yes it has a valve but is easily decanted into a Sodastream bottle.

Hi, It's a plastic nozzle with a cap on the end.

Can this be used in a slush machine?

You would have to dilute it first with sparkling water, but yes it will work.

How do I decant it using the valve or do I have to make a hole in the bag?

Place the box so the spout is facing upwards, it depresses easier and the connect your home made tap. The green cap needs a hole making with a soldering iron, enough the slide clear tubing through and seal with hot glue stick. The tubing needs to be inserted through the green cap to depress the valve. I use about a metre of clear tubing to allow better control of the flow speed and store with the spout upwards. Obviously, I have a Brita water tank sat beside the syrup in the refrigerator, with the bottles in there chilling too. I have thousands of work-a-round answers to professionally-expensive operations. Its good

Does need quite a bit of syrup to have the taste. Prefer the normal sugar one but this is still a pretty good alternative.

Suddenly very pricey

Just what I was looking for and was very pleased until the price reset and shot through the roof. One purchase was at£17 but that was the low and since it's been double and treble. Deciding perhaps best to give up the fiz as its better for you.
