Perfect replacement
Quality is not at official product level but it a worthy replacement for the official product.After our last one broke was able to setup using the Google home app on my phone. Was easy and painless.Performs no different to the official product.

The volume button did not work
Great little remote if everything works properly. However, after having it replaced it worked perfectly well everything in one remote

Works briefly but batteries drain in a few hours
Old remote got lost so bought this as replacement. Seemed to work fine at first although feels a little lighter and cheaper than the real one. Paired fine with Chromecast. However, next day wasn't working. Replaced batteries and then worked again. Next day same issue. Bought a new pack of well known branded batteries. Same issue again and again. Seems somehow batteries are draining even though it's not in use. Wouldn't recommend.

This is a good item that works as advertised.The only minor grip would be that when the buttons are pressed they make quite a noticeable clicking sound, but nonetheless, I would still recommend this item.

It connects with ease, and works with the other one, so you can use 2 remotes for one chromecast.

Does the job but annoying design
Ordered this to replace a broken remote. It works fine but the general design of the Google TV remote leaves a lot to be desired.It's slippery, doesn't feel particularly well built and the curved plastic design makes it hard to keep a grip on or even stay on the arm of the chair. Also the buttons are super sensitive, the number of times it's slipped down the side of the couch and switched the input on the TV.As a remote, it's fine. But it'd be nice if they improved the design to something a little more premium.
