Clean & User Friendly
The media could not be loaded. I like this is a manual standing desk since I only have one plug. It easily raises and lowers by turning the small hidden handle. It’s made with good material and withstands normal use perfectly. I’ve been using it for 4 years without any problems. It’s easy to clean and holds a monitor and laptop with extra room. Since there isn’t power to it I can easily rearrange my home office.

Easy to put together, good value for the money!
The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a stand up desk that was sturdy but affordable. This one was met all of my expectations except I wish it came with wheels. The floor is protected by round plastic discs that are screwed in and can be adjusted to level the table. I’m planning to see if I can busy aftermarket casters to make the table mobile. The instructions are easy to follow. They say to mount the table top to the legs while leaving the table top on the floor, putting in the screws then flipping it over. Instead I left the legs standing upright and placed the tabletop on top then crouched under and put the screws in. I think it was easier this way since it was too heavy for my kids to help me flip this over to stand upright. Seems very sturdy and looks modern! I bought it for me, but my kids wanted to use it and there’s enough space for them to do homework on opposite sides of the table without them bumping into each other. The lever to move it up & down isn’t as smooth, but still seems like it’s sturdy. The handle can be shoved in so it’s less obtrusive, but you need to remember to slide it out before cranking the lever or it will get caught on the table. (See profile pictures)

Love!!! Will buy another.
I can't say enough about this desk, it's just wonderful and I'm so pleased. :) The work surface is HUGE as you can see in the photo. On mine, I have a monitor, a bunch of plants, a laptop, a keyboard, and a mouse... with room to spare! Visually it's great - super minimal and goes with every decor; which is great because I was really dreading putting a desk in my bedroom (yay WFH). The desk is also super sturdy, and the material are good and heavy. It doesn't wobble or shake when you type. Very easy to put together - it took my partner and I maybe 30 minutes total. The crank mechanism is super smooth and very easy to turn - you don't need much strength. I also like that you can push the handle in when you're not using it, to keep it out of the way. Overall GREAT purchase. I will likely purchase another one when we move. :)

Mechanism and size is slightly different than Ikea Skarsta
I already own (and love) an Ikea Skarsta adjustable-height desk (47 1/4x27 1/2"), and I wanted to purchase another one just like it... However, Ikea's website wasn't letting me do that, even though the item was in stock. Since the size of the Devaise table top happens to be better for me, and it was a little less expensive than the Skarsta, and (most importantly) I needed it right away, I decided to take a chance on the Devaise desk. The Devaise desk, fresh out of the box, had a blemish on the R leg and a slight dent and scratch in the L leg. Both were small and not noticeable unless you look. It was packed well, so I can't explain the dings. The tabletop itself is heavy and arrived in perfect shape. Both the Devaise and Skarsta assembly directions were excellent. The Devaise came with all necessary tools as well as several extra screws in case one were to roll away. At its lowest setting, the Devaise desk is 2-3" higher than the Skarsta desk. (I prefer the lower height range because I'm short, but I will adapt.) The overall appearance of the Devaise desk is very similar to the Ikea Skarsta. I think most people would be very happy with the Devaise desk if it is your first mechanical adjustable desk. Here are the subtle differences that I've noticed so far: Each leg of the Devaise desk (as well as the Ikea Skarsta desk) is comprised of two rectangular tubes that are sleeved together. When you look at one leg, you will see that there is an inner sleeve and an outer one. The outer one moves up and down with the tabletop, and the inner one stays stationary with the feet of the desk. In the case of the Ikea desk, the sleeve that moves is the outer one. That allows you to easily mark a specific point on the inner leg sleeve, and use the mark as a visual aid for putting the desk at a certain perfect height each time. On the Devaise desk, the leg sleeve that moves is the inner one. So while it is definitely still possible to mark certain heights on it, in order to see those marks you will have to bend over and put your head under the desk to look at the very top of the legs as you crank the desk. There are also some important mechanical differences in the way the crank mechanism is built. The mechanism in the Ikea Skarsta desk is much simpler than the Devaise design; the Skarsta mechanism feels very smooth when turning the crank. In the Devaise mechanism, the action of the crankshaft and main turning screw depend on their fit into a tube, as well as the tightness of at least one tiny set screw and two very thin pins. When I raise/lower the Devaise desk, there is a "gritty" feeling in the crankshaft as well as a repepetive noise. My expectation is that the Devaise desk's mechanism is going to wear out or break within a year. However it *does* go up and down just fine, and it feels secure enough for now (first day). Since the Devaise desktop size is a better fit for me than the Skarsta (in this particular space), the differences that I described are all acceptable trade-offs. And like I mentioned, it is literally impossible for me to put it back in the box because I can't lift it on my own... so it has to stay. I will update this review if anything changes.

Nice sturdy desk
Desk arrived very well packaged in one box. It had all the pieces and was very simple to put together. I was surprised at the weight and sturdiness of the desk. It is very solid, easy to raise and lower, and very nice looking. The desk makes a slight noise when raising, but that is expected when you are using a mechanical part. I have it on carpet and it is not wobbly or uneven at all. I have a 31-1/2" monitor, laptop w/docking station, and desk lamp on it and it still is easy to raise. This desk is a bargain at this price and well worth the money.

Love it!
Was skeptical buying a desk online, especially since the price was much lower than others with comparable features. I love it. Much sturdier than I anticipated. I have a monitor clamped on the back and several plants and a lamp and they don’t have any issues going up and down. I was worried about somehow ruining it since it’s white and I do art, so I got a plastic table cover that fits perfectly. If you want storage, I personally got some white IKEA drawers, they fit pretty underneath and match the color and style pretty great. The handle does have a tendency to spin fast going down, so you’ll want to keep a hand on it otherwise it can drop pretty fast. Not a problem, but something to keep in mind. A fantastic desk, especially for the price, I’m so glad I got it.

I loved the desk but not the delivery
Hinterhaus 3. Stock zu helfen.
