How do you wash these shoes?

I put them in a laundry bag and throw them in the washer. Once out of the washer, remove the insoles and let the shoes and insoles air dry. They look like new.

How heavy are these shoes?

They are so light and not hot to wear. I have 4 pairs and the go to shoes for walking. You can’t go wrong with these shoes.

I wear a 7.5 wide in the brooks shoes but I need more arch support and how is the width on the shoes and the arch support?

The arch support is for high arches.

Do you need to go up a size if you want them to slide on?

I don't think that will make a difference. The material isn't very firm, so you might need to pull/hold the small tab at the back of the shoe while inserting your foot, regardless of the size. If you don't do that, you would probably push down the back while trying to put your foot in. I found ordering true-to-size made my foot feel more secure.
