Great product. Came quick.

When I received this item I was delighted with it. It was expensive (£11.99 for a card is expensive!) but it is well made and looked as though it would be a great novelty gift/card for my sons 40th birthday. I congratulated myself on finding something a little unique for such a milestone birthday.... HOWEVER..... I have just watched the DVD that came with it and that is where my delight has turned to disappointment and disdain.I was expecting the DVD to contain numerous cheerful/happy events for 1977 including music, happy events, film releases, inventions etc .. things that would bring a huge smile to whomever watched it but that is NOT what I got. Instead, the video is full of gloom and uninteresting boring topics. Apparently 1977 is the year Anthony Eden died and that led to a whole huge section of the dvd chronicling his life and career from the time he was born until the time he died. This included war, hitler and bad news.There was also features such as britain extending its fishing limit and a boarding of a russian fishing boat. The captain said he didn't know about the increased limit and then treated the crew and reporters to wine, dinner etc.There were clips about Royalty and their events. BlahhhA few other snippets include oil spills, overseas recruits for armies, lions who were rescued and shipped to south africa, Bing Crosby dying and the list goes on.This is definitely NOT what I was expecting or hoping for and if I had time now to do something about it I would but my sons birthday is tomorrow so instead of being delighted to give him this card I shall instead be giving it to him with a 'sorry about the dvd' and 'throw it away if you want to'.Ultimately, its cost me £11.99 for a card! More fool me. Ah wellSorry to say that I do NOT recommend it  1977 Birthday Gifts - 1977 DVD and 1977 Birthday Star Greetings Card
