Language aid.
Good large pocket dictionary with more words than your average pocket sized dictionary.

Excellent dictionary but check the size if you want a compact one.
I bought a Larousse Pocket Dictionary years ago and was very pleased with it. Unfortunately I lost it and replaced it with this one. The main difference is that it's a lot bigger. I don't carry it around in a pocket by if I did it would have to be large.

Great dictionary, lots of modern words and phrases included. This was a replacement for a 30 years old French-English dictionary. I wouldn't call it pocket sized though. It is 7 inches long, 4¼ inches wide and just over 1½ inches wide and weighs 477gm. So bag sized, rather than pocket sized.
