Great crawler, even better support
Great support. If something arrives broken or ends up broken, Redcat sends replacement without hesitation. I own multiple RC’s and redcat’s support has been so much extra compared to bigger brands like Armma or Traxxas. They offer live chat, and don’t push you to find a solution to your own problem. Unlike my Armma, whose product arrived with wobbly ass wheels and wouldn’t connect to the remote, they told me to purchase replacements myself since it was “wear and tear”. It ARRIVED like that! Traxxas and Armmas support also asks for too much information, and you can only contact them via email (it takes them a week to reply back!) Redcat offered a replacement within a few minutes (live chat) and it shipped quickly as well. The car itself is great as well. Metal gears, portal axles, great servo and motor. Climbs as well as crawlers double the price. It also looks great with a really stiff and rigid chassis and metal shocks. Really durable as well. Dropped it upside down from 5ft without the body and the only damage was the metal corner flattening a little. I run a 5200 battery mainly but if I’m too lazy to charge and storage it, I use a small 1800mah battery. It has insane battery life. I can go for a week without charging the 1800 battery. Maybe I’m used to bashers and on road cars but insane battery life. Fun. Only cons are the suspension have very very very little flex, and its slower than me walking.

Great RTR crawler
I love this crawler! Ran fantastic out of the box. I paired it with a 3s lipo battery, tried ac2s but the 3s gives it more power. Well worth the money. Tons of accessories for it so you can customize it your way. Highly recommend it if you want to get into crawling without breaking the bank.

Looks and Quality
I like this RC Truck. It looks really cool. It works great right out of the box. Even the box it came in looks good. It has a low center of gravity. So it is a good climber. It is heavier than my other RC Truck of the same 1/10 scale. It must be built a little sturdier. The Venom 5000, 30C, 2 Cell, 7.4 Volt battery works good in it. The battery came with 3 adaptors so it will work with other RC vehicles. I also have a 1984 Chevy Base Camp K10 Rock Crawler. This battery also works with that truck.

Get it anyway.
It's a capable crawler, looks good too! The build quality is less than spectacular. It came with a broken upper link and stripped panhard mount holes. Fix that stuff throw some shocks and wheels on it and hit the rocks though.

Crawler
It's a comp crawler that's all but for me I turned it into a tow truck so the 2 piece blue body was perfect for my build, sure it has good crawling tires but they are glued on plastic rims, got enough wheel speed right out of the box, hopefully my new hobbywing fusion se 1200kv gives the same wheel speed but not too worried if it doesn't, for the price you can't beat it for a cheap way to get a fully functional comp crawler without having to buy one and then mod it out for like $400-$1000 cuz just a different motor setup and tires and beadlock rims can get you to enjoy some competition for less amount of money

Very good beginner/budget LCG with portal axles
For the price, you can't beat it! This thing is a very capable crawler. The blue one's body style would have worked better for my uses but the red just looks so pretty on this truck. You get an LCG and portal axles for this price! I did play with this thing stock and it works really well if it's for a kid or someone new to crawling. It does not come with batteries so you'll have to factor that in. I currently run this on a 2200mah 3s lipo and I get amazing times. I like to upgrade/mod things and this crawler already has some pretty good aftermarket support. Transmitter feels pretty nice in the hand and it's very easy to use. So far I've only done light modifications to this (wheels, tires, springs, shock oil, body trimming). I will say though, the ESC is kind of loud and the drag brake on it isn't the best. ESC will probably be my next upgrade for it.

1 star for Amazon, 500 Stars for Redcat Customer Service!!!
1 star for Amazon, 5 stars for Redcat customer service. The truck arrived in an Amazon box that was too large for it, meaning that the trucks box could rattle and move around during transit. No padding or paper inside the bigger box, so the truck ARRIVED with 5 broken links rendering UNUSABLE out of the box. The only saving grace was that after contacting Redcat customer service, they let me file a warranty claim and sent almost $70 worth of parts to FIX it, free of charge. Don't buy from Amazon on this one, don't make my mistake. Go straight through Redcat, they won't do you wrong!!!

Great truck but came with broken pan hard mount due to the way it’s packaged. But this is not a toy rc this is as close to comp crawler you can buy rtr or its brother the ascent fusion. As far as its capabilities are concerned its out crawls my heavily modified trx4 sport and both my axials right out of the box.
