The brackets were the correct size and were described correctly. The screws that come with the brackets are useless and would most likely pull out of the sofa the first time it was moved. Replace the screws with thicker, longer screws and you will have a more secure fit. It would be better if the bracket had less of a ridge so it doesn't show between the frame and the leg.

This item was able to work for my purpose. I did use longer screws and some grease on each screw and after attached to the leg, I could get all of them on tight.

The mounting plates are heavy duty and work great. The screws that come with it are only 3/8 inch long and tiny. I just cannot believe they will hold under heavy furniture. I used much longer screws and tossed the tiny ones.

This is the second time I have ordered leg mounting plates ( I'm putting small wooden sofa legs on my ottomans..) they arrived on time, and the first ottoman is perfect ! However, in the second order, one of the four plates arrived without being threaded...which means I can't screw the small sofa leg into it. I'm not sure how to get a replacement without having to order four more... I would have given this product 5 stars, however this dilemma has held up my project ... I'm searching to find a suitable replacement

Just the right size for my wife's project. The local big box stores stopped selling this size. A previous set has been on a kitchen project for years and even with all the humidity in a kitchen, no rust. Both the plates and screws have a non-rust finish, nice.

They work well to mount furniture legs. Pro-tip. If you have the means, make a recess in your substrate so you can mount the mounded side into the substrate. This will allow the shoulder of your furniture legs to contact the recess in the mounting plates which gives a more solid connection. It also gives a more flush appearance.

Solid and sturdy material.

Used these with 6" legs, less than a week and 3 out of 4 busted off. The screws are two short, brackets bent than screws ripped out. Took rubber stoppers, drilled hole threw center, put furniture nut on large side, than pushed them in to the 3/4" hole from the top and screwed the leg into it.
