Need this to be left outside so is it waterproof?

We leave ours out all day but change the writing on it every day. The black has weathered and I have bought some black board paint spray to refresh it, however, as I said we wipe the chalk pens off most days. The short answer to your question is yes it's waterproof to some extent.
