My class loves this! It looks like a real butterfly until you are up close! They loved "tending" it at their desk. Very cute. I wish their were more options, like a terrarium

Great product. I was so amazed on how real it looked. very easy to use and I did not have to hit the jar hard at all.

So I purchased this for my cats (babies) and it was a hit. However, it doesn't stay active very long and to "tap it" to activate it is a really hard hit that not one of my cats, even my 20lbs boy can accomplish. And it is a specific type of type tap almost like a flick with your fingernail on the lid to reactivate the butterfly, so that is rather annoying. Especially when every few seconds I have three pairs of eyes boring into me to make it work! They love it! I think it is cute! I wish it stayed active more than a few seconds and they could reactivate it themselves.

This was okay. The lights aren't as bright as I would hope and the movement isn't really as erratic or strong as I was hoping for either. It definitely doesn't look like a realistic butterfly flapping around, but I was hoping it might amuse the cat. Unfortunately it's not even possible for him. Just sort of sits there and looks cute on the counter.

I gave it as a gift to my nephew who adores butterflies. he loved it! The light in the lid was a big hit, too!
