As a naturopath, I find it’s best not to take synthetic secosteroid vitamin d or too much added zinc or copper. The zinc/copper balance in our body is so delicate and can easily be throw off by supplements. If this supplement didn’t contain the synthetic vitamins or minerals, and they stuck to just the natural herbal ingredients and mushrooms then this would be perfect. I will say you have to be careful with chaste berry. Some women are prone to emotional responses from this herb. It’s really only effective where it’s needed, so it does come with some risks. If you start crying a lot or feeling down while taking this supplement, then you’ll know this is probably not for you. Or you could try only taking it during your luteal phase (the 2nd half of your cycle post ovulation) as the chaste berry may support progesterone which is needed more during this time and not so much in the first half of your cycle. I appreciate that ancient nutrition doesn’t use any toxic excipients in their supplements. It costs manufacturers extra to make things this way, but it’s so much better for our health. Overall, I will stick to taking reishi, chaga, and occasional chaste berry on their own instead of continuing to purchase this supplement.

I started taking one per day and already notice the thought clarity and calmness (perhaps an indirect benefit). A few days is not enough sampling but I’m sticking with it.
