The new FireStar features precision CNC manufacturing and state of the art compression fire starting technology! The compact size is perfect for pocket, pack or belt carry. Twist the base only 1/2 a turn, pull out the piston. Close the base back the half turn. Place a small amount of charcloth (supplied) into the recess in the piston. Please the piston into the cylinder up to the black 'O' ring. Strike the piston down into the cyllinder firmly and sharply. Immediately remove and inspect the charcloth. It should now be glowing, ready to place in your tinder bundle. Simple, effective and efficient.
