The traslations by Sir John Woodroffe is beautiful for this book of Hymns on Mother Kali. The inner and subtler meaning of the much misunderstood Mother of the Universe is so well cracked open for the lover of the Goddess that it is truly a work of the devoutest of Her followers. It is a blessing of the Mother Herself that there was a Sir John Woodroffe in contemporary times and a bigger blessing when another seeker finds his or her way to this book. This book has opened up such Vistas of Spiritual realms for me that one finds very few words to completely do justice to the book, the attitude of the Author and above all to the Mother's vision that opens up when a fortunate reader embarks on this book. That too is The Mother's Grace!
