I chose this brand of yoga blocks is primarily for its environment-friendly material - cork. It is easier to clean than form. From price point, it is not as expensive as some other brands.Other people’s review complained about their size which is not very important for me. In addition, I don’t own other yoga blocks that I need to match them to. Also solid cork doesn’t mean the entire block is made of cork. If it were 100% cork, it would be too light to provide stability. I like the weighted blocks!The icing on the cake is the yoga strap! The one I have came with the yoga mat I bought 3 years ago and it is primarily for the mat and is very stretchy, so it is useless. With this new one, I am able to do some real stretches now. Love it!I highly recommend this set.

Having adopted a yoga practice, I've been in search of some blocks to assist with some high balance poses and stability challenges.As for natural cork substance - I detected a glue-like scent upon opening so I left them outside to offgas for a day. The smell wasn't overpowering by any means - fairly subtle. And bringing them back inside I don't detect much smell anymore. I suspect there is glue binder for the cork material. The weight of the blocks (fairly hefty) would suggest a binding agent as well.As for the strap - it was really just a bonus for me. I wasn't looking for a strap but this one seems like it will be ok to assist with reach. The loop options seem good. I don't have much to compare it to, being newer to the practice.I really purchased these for the blocks - they represent a decent value for 2 cork blocks given current pricing I found in the marketplace for a single block - it was slightly cheaper per block to buy this pack, plus the strap was included. That said, manufactured foam blocks can be had for a few dollars cheaper.While I liked the cork look, what I didn't love was the "Super Solid" logo on the side. I just don't understand why generic brands choose to brand so large and conspicuously. I suppose I should be happy that at least the brand is two english words (I have seen multiple that are just letters jumbled together - why?). I'm picking nits a bit here - these will live in my house and be used during exercise, so it's not a total dealbreaker, I just wish there was more tact for something to be done during a yoga practice that didn't clash.

It took over a week to arrive, but it was well worth the wait. I used the blocks and the strap as soon as they arrived. I love this set! The blocks are solid and durable. They do not seem like they'll break down any time soon, and they have a great grip surface. My last pair were cheap and not cork. One use and you realize cork makes a world of difference! Sometimes, yoga blocks feel slippery and a little too cushiony (my last pair wasn't cushiony, but they were a little slippery and impossible to clean). These are 100% cork, which are the best blocks. They're approx. 6" x 9" x 3", which is a perfect size. The price for the set is great; it costs less than buying two cork blocks and a separate strap.Personally, I LOVE the stretching strap. It's durable and spaced perfectly. It's also soft. I know many people like the single strap with the D-ring, but I like this one. I like the width, which is approx. 1" wide. I know some people like a wider strap, but for me, this is very comfortable and works much better than others. I love stretching, but stretching with straps gives you a better stretch and helps to maintain form. Also, if you haven't tried straps, you will find that you tend not to bounce when using straps.I'm sold on this set! I plan to buy a couple more sets for gifts. I would definitely recommend : )

These blocks and the resistance band has allowed me to step up my yoga game and achieve poses that I previously struggled with. The band allows me to hold a stretch longer which is great. I have longer legs and a shorter torso and arms so I struggle a little bit with certain stretches where the position is holding my feet. The resistance band allows me to do that and even has the loops that allows me to keep my feet in the right spot on the band. The blocks are sturdy yet soft enough to the touch to put pressure on them and not hurt. They have not worn down at all with use and do not have a smell like a lot of different cork materials do from time to time.
