Good gauges for the price

Installed on my air compressor. Works great. Seems accurate. Price was good.

Appears to be a high quality unit, quite heavy for it's size. Connects directly to a air chuck adapter.

The old pressure gauge near my home's main water shutoff failed several years ago, and I chose to ignore it, which turned out to be a big mistake. When the water press. regulator failed and the pressure spiked above 100 psi, I had no way of knowing. As a result, my water softener resin tank cracked and started leaking. The result was a minor flood in my basement and I was very lucky to be home when it happened. This new gauge is an excellent way to monitor water pressure and prevent problems before they arise. Quality of the gauge is very good and it's easy to read.

UPDATE: I found the cause of the gauge not working. There is a tiny hole in the NPT fitting that allows water or air to reach the mechanism of the gauge that can get easily get plugged, which it had been. While I could clear the tiny hole with a needle, I ended up drilling a slightly larger hole to prevent future clogs. I increased my rating from 1 to 4 stars, as the gauge is now functioning correctly. ORIGINAL POST: I used this guage last summer to monitor the pressure of a sprinkler system. From Nov to Apr (now), it was brought inside, but when I reinstalled it today, the gauge is frozen at 0 psig. Rather disappointing.
