Do not absorb water at all
Mat does not do it's first basic task of drying the feet. It doesn't make your feet dry. Waste of money.The mat anti slip rubber is not if good quality. The mat slips easily.Not happy with the product at all.I bought three of them.

The quality and thickness of the mat is nice , but it’s not efficient as a bathroom mat ( outside) as it gets soggy pretty fast.

Very comfortable and soft. However, grip on smooth floor is not effective.
I used this as a bath mat. Kept outside the bathroom. It is sufficiently moisture absorbing and very soft, comfy. However, it tends to slip on the smooth, tiled floor. One needs to take care while stepping on it.
