The Curious Case File Detectives (Camping Tales): A Mystery Short Story Book for Kids Ages 9-12

On the back cover of this book the words says ".....Are you ready to test your detective skills? Follow this trio as they chase down leads, decipher codes, and unravel the truth behind each puzzle."I bought this book for my 11 year old nephew thinking that he could solve some codes, puzzles and riddles with it.The stories in the book aren't like that though and read more generally and much less interactively than I thought. I found this misleading.To make a balanced review I want to mention the stories are nicely written with good vocabulary. With the next book I recommend the author adds more interactive detective work or change the description on the back of the book.I will be giving this book to my niece, a couple of years younger, who might appreciate it more.
