No - they are the same product . The strap splits just above the ear and one section goes over the top of your head while the other goes around the back. You can barely see that in this photo, but it's there. (I find the split a little too close to the ear for real comfort, but the strap does work better than others I've tried.)

Does the chin strap go over or under the cpap straps?

Put the CPAP mask on first, then the chin strap. Put the chin part on first, then over the head. Depending on the type of mask you have, you may need to disconnect the front hose before putting on the strap. It's a real production for me because I also put in a mouthpiece to keep from grinding my teeth. By the time I get everything hooked up, I feel like Darth Vader. I think I breathe like him too.
